Biography
Christina Washburn, age 76, passed away peacefully Monday, January 2, 2012 at the Livingston Co. Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility in Mt. Morris.
Christina was born Dec. 8, 1935 in the Town of Cohocton; a daughter of John Wixom & Clarabel (Perry) Washburn. She was a former employee at Hilltop Industries in Mt. Morris; working there for many years.
Christina enjoyed playing BINGO, coloring and her stuffed animals, but most of all she loved spending time with her sister, Marlene Washburn and her friend, Kay Zimmer.
She is survived by her sister, Marlene Washburn of N. Cohocton; several cousins, her close friends, Kathie Clark & Becky Sheasley Bridge and Kay Zimmer; as well as all her friends and care givers at the Perry ICF Home and the Livingston-Wyoming ARC.
Friends may call 12- 1:30 pm Friday at the Chamberlin - Baird Funeral Home, 73 Main St., Dansville, where funeral services will be at 1:30 pm. Burial will be in Clearview Cemetery, N. Cohocton.
