I will never forget my first New Year's Eve party after I met Travis. JR probably had the most fun laughing at everyone else's craziness. I never knew JR shared a love of animals like I do. I will carry his memory with me as I continue to pursue my career working with animals.

Being so happy that he was a member of the Volunteer Fire department. The last time we spoke he wished me a safe return from Iraq.

I knew J.R since he was a young child and I have many happy and fond memories of him. JR was always quick to laugh and would always make you smile no matter what your mood was. He was what I would like to call a gentle giant of a man. His heart was always filled with love and kindness for everyone he knew. It was indeed my honor to have known this man. I will always remember him with fond and happy memories. Be at peace my friend and know that your family and friends will all miss you down here. Your presence made this world a little more brighter. God Bless you JR.

Jim also worked for the Arc's Kids Recreation program, and the kids adored him so much. Jim was always willing to help out where needed, and was even willing to deliver my baby when I started having contractions during a day at Kids Rec! He said he always wanted to get his Stork Pin! Jim will be greatly missed, my deepest condolences to his family and friends. He truly was one of the great ones. Rest in Peace <3
