James E. Dwyer, age 67, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville.
Jim was born January 27, 1950 in Rochester, a son of the late James E. & Rosemary (Urtle) Dwyer. He was a former fork lift operator for Seneca Foods in Mt. Morris. Jim married Cynthia Crouse on June 6, 1981; she survives. He was also predeceased by a son, James R. "JR" Crouse on Jan. 5, 2012.
Jim was a member of the Wayland Sons of American Legion. He enjoyed fishing, collecting knives and watches, the Buffalo Bills & NASCAR, especially Jimmy Johnson and John Wayne Movies, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
Jim is survived by his wife of 36 years, Cindy; his children, Michael (Michelle) Dwyer, Raymond Dwyer, Dawn Dwyer, Joseph Dwyer, Kimberly (Steve) Wray & Jennifer Riffle; 13 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Sandy (Hank) Wilson-Dwyer, Diane Dwyer & Patty (John) Muckle; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins.
Friends may call 5-7 pm Monday at the Walter E. Baird & Sons Funeral Home, 300 West Naples St., Wayland, where a memorial service will be held 7 pm.
