Dear Doug and Kim, I am so very sorry to hear of Mary Ellen's passing. It brought back many memories of being with Mary Ellen--the time we decided to can tomatoes and it took forever and forever, our membership in the Gourmet Club and making what we thought were absolutely outstanding meals, when we carried our sons during the same time with their being born just months apart, being at your wedding, Doug, and having Bob act as your best man, our "Book Club" meetings in our youth, and the list goes on . . . they were good times, weren't they! I'm so saddened that Mary Ellen is no longer with you . . . but what good memories you have of a long and good marriage. May God bless Mary Ellen and may God bless all who love her and will miss her. May God be with you and yours . . . the sharp edges of grief will soften in time.
