Harry A. "Pinky" Jones, age 82, passed away peacefully Friday, January 26, 2018 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville.
Pinky was born June 10, 1935 in Brockway, PA, a son of Asa & Jessie (Miller) Jones. He was a veteran of the National Guard, serving from 1957 to 1961 in Hornell, NY & Fort Dix, NJ. He married Gloria Gross on Sept. 7, 1963; she predeceased him in 2007. He was a retired mixer at Specialized Inc. in Caledonia. In addition to his parents and wife, he was also predeceased by a brother, Kenneth "Tommy" Jones; and 2 sisters, Winifred Carlini & Florence Carl.
Pinky enjoyed trains and collecting trains, woodworking, fishing, Search Word puzzles, Hide-N-Seek and other computers games, hunting and Redneck Retirement Fund "Lottery".
He is survived by 2 daughters, Sandra Jones & Jessie Jones; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; great-great nieces, great-great nephews, neighbors and friends.
Friends may call 5-7 pm Wednesday the Chamberlin-Baird Funeral Home, 73 Main St., Dansville, where funeral services will be held at 7 pm. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Scottsburg.
