William D. Rowland, age 63, passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 14, 2008 at his home.
Bill was born September 15, 1944 in Rochester, a son of William G. & Chris (Dool) Rowland. He was a veteran of the US Army serving from 1965 to 1971. He was a foreman at Kodak, retiring in 1992.
Bill was predeceased by his parents, William & Chris Rowland, his brother-in-law, William Costello and a nephew Kyle Costello.
Bill was a communicant of St. Matthews Church in Livonia and he was a member of the Conesus American Legion Post. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved fishing, hunting, trapping and golfing, but most of all he loved spending time at his place in Thousand Islands.
He is survived by his sister, Carol Costello of Wayland; his aunt& uncle, Marie & Bud Gould of Scottsburg; his nephews, Bill (Mary) Costello of Webster, Tom (Kathy) Costello of Hornell and Tim (Dawn) Costello of Wayland; many great nieces, nephews & cousins.
There will be no prior calling. Friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial 11 am, Tuesday at St. Josephs Catholic Church, Fremont St., Wayland. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Wayland.
