Naples, NY Marian G (Peck) Moore
Marian G. Moore, 94, was called home to be with the Lord on May 1, 2019. Marian was born June 18, 1924 in the beautiful Naples hills in Naples NY, daughter of Merrill and Anna (Miller) Peck. She was a graduate of North Cohocton-Atlanta High School and Rochester Business School. She worked at American Brake Shoe in Rochester, married and later worked at Moore-Cottrell in North Cohocton, and then at Widmers in Naples as a secretary, retiring in 1988. Marian was a member of the Naples Senior Citizens Club for many years, serving as secretary for 7 years. She was a past member and President of the Hyatt-Clair Hatch American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, after World War II and a life member of the Naples James R. Moore Memorial VFW Post 8726 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed traveling and doing crafts for many years.
Marian is survived by her daughter, Sandra Boulter of Rochester; 3 granddaughters: Christine Lawson of Bloomfield, Tracey Tippett (Leonard) of North Carolina and Kara Colby (Chad) of California; 6 great grandchildren and one great, great grandson. In addition to her parents, Marian was predeceased by a daughter, Linda Lee Moore; a son, James R. Moore (Staff Sgt. USMC, missing in action in Vietnam since 1967); son-in-law, Earl Boulter, and brother, Robert Peck.
Friends are invited to a memorial service on Saturday May 11th at the Baird-Moore FH in Naples at 11am.
