Dexter Devin Howland, Sr. (Dex to family and friends), 60, of Naples NY passed away October 11th, 2019 in Rochester NY.
Dexter was born in Rochester to the late Frederick and Norma Howland on March 26th, 1959. He spent most of his life in auto body shops. He especially loved restoring older model cars and trucks. He loved fishing and tending his small flock of chickens.
Dexter is survived by his wife, Geanne, of Naples; 2 brothers: Leo of Naples & Frederick (Mary Jane) of Mullins, SC;1 sister: Amelia (Punkie) Templar (Brett) of West Bloomfield; his son: Dexter Jr. (Jennifer) of Farmington; 2 grandchildren: Connor & Lyla, both of Farmington; 2 uncles: Thomas Parrish of West Bloomfield & Harold Parrish of Honeoye and many nieces, nephews & cousins.
Friends are invited to call from 11-1 on Thursday October 17th at the Baird-Moore Funeral home 154 S. Main St. in Naples with services to be held at 1:00pm. Burial in Millers Corners Cemetery in Ionia, NY with a reception to follow at the Ionia Fire Hall.
