Jacques L. Dietz, age 94, passed away peacefully Aug 29, 2020 at home surrounded by his caregivers.
Jacques was born November 9, 1925 in Rochester, a son of Leonard & Adelaide (Ott) Dietz. He was a 1944, graduate of West High in Rochester. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving during WWII. He was a Bank Representative at Marine Midland Bank in Rochester, retiring in 1990. He was an extremely hard worker; he enjoyed mowing his lawn and shoveling his driveway well into his 80's, he also enjoyed his cats, and the many friends he and his best gal, Edwina Ferguson met on their trips to New Hampshire and Florida. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his best gal and life partner, Edwina Ferguson.
For the last 5 years he has been cared for by a group of aides who were nothing short of angels. They were his family and he was theirs. They are, Rose Nobles, Sue Mastin, Theresa Allison, Michelle Mix and Cherie Rhynes. He is also survived by his primary caregiver for over the past 6 years, Linda D. Klien.
Per his wishes there will be no calling hours. A graveside prayer service will be held 12 (noon) Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2020 at the Clarence Filmore Cemetery, Clarence, NY.
Funeral arrangements are with the Chamberlin – Baird Funeral Home, Dansville, NY.
