Obituary of Carl Wilson Royce

C. Wilson Royce, age 44, passed away unexpectedly Monday, December 7, 2020 at his home. Wilson was born April 8, 1976 in College Park, Maryland; a son of Carl F. & Cynthia (Thorpe) Royce. He worked construction for most of his life and loved what he did. He was very talented and smart, he could build just about anything. He was driven, always full of life and never afraid to speak his mind. Wilson was loved by many and hated by most, but he didn't care. He made the best of it and was an amazing man & father and cared most for his family & friends. Wilson was predeceased by his 9 year old son, Isaac, whom he called "Mushkin"; his father, Carl F. Royce and an uncle, Tommy Thorpe. He is survived by his pride & joy, Kaidince "Keesha" Royce; his wife, Tifini (House) Royce; his mother, Cynthia Royce; his sister, Michelle (Mike) Wood; nephews, Colby "Doucher" & Quinn "Turdburgler"; nieces, Marleigh "Brat Face" and Lainnie "Birdie". He loved giving just about everyone close to him a nickname. One thing he sure had was a sense of humor. It was one of his best qualities. Wilson was most proud of his daughter, Kaidince, he loved to listen to her play piano. It was something she taught herself to do and he enjoyed listening to her play Clocks – by Cold Play. It was special to them both. Services will be held privately by his family at their convenience. Please send donations or flowers to his daughter, Kaidince Royce, C/o Walter E.
