Naples Verna Jean (Herrick) Schutz, age 76, passed away at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester NY on Tuesday, December 8, 2020. Verna was born on December 3, 1944 in Corning to the late Theodore & Alta (Conklin) Herrick. In addition to her parents, Verna was also predeceased by her husband, Charles E. Schutz; and her grandchild, Dakota Schutz. Verna is survived by her loving children: Charles V. (Kimberly) Schutz of Pasadena MD and Alta J. (Dwain) Pratt of Rochester NY; her beloved grandchildren: Brandon L. Schutz, Daniel M. (Tara Lyons) Schutz, Dwain E. Pratt, Hosanna Schutz, & Izabel Schutz; her adorned great-grandchildren: Alyssa Schutz, Nathan Lyons-Schutz & Aurora Lyons-Schutz; her brothers: Ronald & Richard Herrick; many nieces, nephews & cousins; and long-time special friend, Ruth Adams. Family and friends are invited to call from 11am – 1pm on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at the Baird-Moore Funeral Home (154 S. Main St., Naples NY 14512). Funeral services will be private, burial will be in Rose Ridge Cemetery, Naples.
