Obituary of Chester R. McCaslin
Chester R. McCaslin, age 64 of Cohocton, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 22, 2021.
Chester was born in Wellsville on April 19, 1956 to Chester & Rosanna (Clark) McCaslin. Chester was a clerk at the Gunlocke Chair Factory in Wayland; he also proudly served in the Army from 1974 until 1988. Chester loved to fish, watch football & NASCAR; he enjoyed playing scratch-off tickets & lotto, you could find him at the local 711 every Saturday morning checking his numbers. Though Chester had many joys in life, his favorite thing was spending time with all of his grandchildren.
Chester is predeceased by his father, Chester and his niece, Jennifer Bradford.
Chester is survived by his devoted wife, Cheryl (Zigenfus); his loving children: Joshua (Ashley) Zigenfus of Cohocton, Phillipa McCaslin of Texas, & Margie McCaslin of Texas; his beloved grandchildren: Damion, Zoey, Ronnie, Scarlet, Jazmy, Diego, Micheal, Jada, Bianca, Ethan, Chyys, Philip, Marianna, Kahliana, & Isaiah; his mother, Rosanna (Clark) McCaslin; his brothers: David McCaslin of Maine, Patrick (Karen) McCaslin of Woodhull, Brian McCaslin of N. Dakota, Kenneth (Vera) McCaslin of Kentucky, & Danny (Betty) McCaslin of Cohocton; his sisters: Penny (Craig) Shedd of Pennsylvania, Karen Pearl of Woodhull, & Robynn (Wendal) LeGalley of Texas; & many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins & friends.
The family is will hold a private prayer service at Mother's house on Friday, February 26, 2021.
