Raymond L. Keenan, age 57, passed away at Strong Memorial Hospital on Thursday, March 18, 2021.
Ray was born on December 20, 1963 to Edward Keenan & Karen Castrechino. After high school, Ray honorably served our country in the United States Air Force for almost 20 years.
Ray was employed at Speedway and worked the overnight shift where he got to know many local Rochester Police Officers and Firemen; he enjoyed being their friend and would offer them slices of pizza or a cup of coffee because of all the hard work they do for our community. In his spare time, Ray loved to play videogames, especially ones based in fantasy like MMR and PG. He enjoyed reading, particularly Sci-Fi novels and had a massive collection of movies; everything from horror to Disney, he loved them all. Ray was a self-proclaimed nerd and his family loved him for it.
Ray is predeceased by his father and step-mother, Edward T. & Lynne R. (Howard) Keenan; his brother, Thomas Keenan when he was a child; and his uncle, Rich Tytler.
Ray is survived by his sister, Patricia (Jim) Peters; his niece & nephew: Laura (Alan) Peters & Jon (Amanda) Peters and his great-niece, Vivian Peters; his mother, Karen Castrechino and half-siblings, Berry & Bryan Castrechino & their families; his aunt, Mary Tytler; several cousins and many friends.
Per Ray's request, funeral services will be held privately & at the convenience of the family.
A Memorial Tree was planted for Raymond
