James A. Worden, age 86 of Prattsburgh, passed away peacefully of natural causes on Friday, July 2, 2021.
Jim was born on December 20, 1934 in Bristol on Worden Hill Farm to the late Albert & Ruth (Wolfanger) Worden.
Jim graduated from Naples Central School and married Bernice Cooper of Avoca. Jim loved to farm, take care of the gardens and knew his way around the kitchen. Jim was a very generous man and worked hard to support his family until his last day; he had a full life.
In addition to his parent's, Jim was predeceased by his sister, Marie Frew and his great-grandson, Branden Curtis.
Jim is survived and will be sorely missed by his wife, Bernice; his children: Audrey (Mitch) Carrier, Jim (Nancy) Worden & Randy (Maureen) Worden; his siblings: Bev Wilcox and Roger Worden; his grandchildren whom he loved dearly: Tanya Curtis, Nick Carrier, Erin Worden, Cameron Worden & Matthew Worden; his great-grandchildren: Samantha, Dylan, Cady, & Tucker Carrier and Ciara Curtis; and his great-great-grandchildren: Ava, Sophia, Levi & Oaklynn.
Per Jim's request, funeral services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
