Carlos W. Gayhart, age 79, passed away peacefully in Houghton on Monday, August 23, 2021. Carlos was born in Andover on September 11, 1941 in Andover to the late Charles & Beatrice (Davidson) Gayhart. Carlos was affectionately known as, "The Chicken Man" around Dansville and loved to take walks around town; he enjoyed having coffee with his friends at the Sunrise almost every day. In addition to his parents, Carlos is predeceased by his siblings: Clifton Gayhart & Delores Kinne; and his sister-in-law, Edwina Gayhart. Carlos is survived by his siblings: Tommy Gayhart, Paul Gayhart (Mary Gayhart), & Don (Dorothy) Gayhart; and several nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. A Celebration of Carlos' life will be held at 11am on what would have been his 80th birthday, September 11, 2021 at the Chamberlin-Baird Funeral Home, 73 Main Street, Dansville; all are invited to attend.
