Beverly G. Slone, age 71, passed away at home on Tuesday, October 20, 2021 after a courageous 21 year battle with cancer. Beverly was born on September 12, 1950 in Plumville PA to Robert & Beverly (Banks) Streams. She was a homemaker most of her life and enjoyed taking care of her family. Beverly enjoyed knitting & crocheting, baking, serving the Lord at church; most of all, she loved spending time with her daughter and grandchildren. Beverly is survived by her loving husband of 52 and ½ years, V. L. Slone; her daughter, Corrissa; her grandchildren: Marcus, Kyle, & Kasey Buckley; her great-granddaughter, Nora Buckley; her mother, Beverly Streams; and her siblings: Billy Streams, Janet Washburn & Christine Keeves. Beverly is predeceased by her father, Robert Streams; and her brother, Bobby Streams. Family & friends are invited to call from 4pm – 7pm on Friday, October 22, 2021 at the Walter E. Baird & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the Naples Bible Church, 8833 NY-53, Naples NY 14512. Beverly will be buried in Varney Branch Cemetery in Kimper KY on Saturday, October 30, 2021.
