Obituary of Richard L. McLane

McLane, Richard L. Dick Dansville, Richard L. Dick McLane, age 77, passed away peacefully, Thursday, March 15, 2007 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville. Dick was born February 23, 1930 in Dansville a son of George & Bessie (Dunning) McLane. He was a graduate of Dansville Central School. He was a veteran of the US Air Force, serving during the Korean Conflict from 1947 to 1959. In addition to his parents he was also predeceased by 2 brothers & 3 sisters, Earl McLane, Jerry McLane, Anna MacNaughton, Laura McLane & Agnes Dugo. He was a communicant member of St. Marys Church of the Holy Family Catholic Community in Dansville. He was a life member of the Dansville VFW and the Dansville American Legion and a past member of the Dansville Moose Lodge. He is survived by his nieces & nephews, Ramona (Joseph) Perry of Geneva, Diane Bailey of Monticello, IL, James (Betty) Dugo of Wayland, Michael (Lisa) Dugo and Judy (John) Gascon all of Dansville; several great nieces, great nephews and cousins. Friends may call 12-2 pm, Sunday at the Chamberlin Baird Funeral Home, 73 Main St., Dansville, where funeral services with full military honors will be held at the conclusion of calling. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Dansville. Contributions may be made to the Dansville VFW or the Dansville American Legion in memory of Richard L. Dick McLane.
