Obituary of Debra Robinson Hawks

HAWKS, Debra Robinson Naples/S. Bristol, Debra Robinson Hawks, age 55, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 14, 2007 at her home after a long illness. Debra was born November 11, 1951 in Wichita Falls, TX, a daughter of the late Roger & Evelyn (Gardner) Robinson. She was a wonderful wife & loving mother who took pride in her many community activities, but her family always came first. Her talents were many and her contributions were great. She most recently renovated and opened the Parting of the Ways, her dream antique and gift shop. She was President of the F.F. Thompson Hospital Guild and the Naples Sports Boosters Club. She was owner/editor of the Naples Record. She led the Junior Choir at Trinity Federated Church in Naples. She led many Boys Scouts & Girl Scouts and attended virtually every one of her childrens sporting events and activities. Known for her humor and inviting smile, Deb was always the life of the party. Whether traveling with her husband to tropical locales or cheering on her children, she was always ready to go. She is survived by her husband, Richard H. Hawks Jr.; her 4 children, Jacqueline (David) Lyttle, Richard H. (Paige) Hawks III, Kellie Hawks & Michael Bubba Hawks; her two grandchildren, David Roger Lyttle & Caroline MacKenzie Lyttle; her mother, Evelyn Robinson; her sister, Karen Robinson; her niece & nephew, Cheryl Romaszewski & Kevin Romaszewski; she also counted several of her childrens friends as her own. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 pm, Friday at the Baird-Moore Funeral Home, 154 S. Main St., Naples. A memorial service will be held 11 am, Saturday at the Trinity Federated Church, 123 N. Main St., Naples. Memorials & contributions are gratefully accepted to the F.F. Thompson Hospital Foundation for the Hawks Emergency Fund in Debras name.
