Obituary of Patricia Barnhart
Patricia E. Barnhart, age 62, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 10, 2008 at Noyes Memorial Hospital, Dansville.
Pat was born August 16, 1945 in Groton, a daughter of Martin H. & Evelyn M. (Dann) Barnhart. She resided most of her life in Dansville. She worked at as a waitress and at a nursing home, but most recently she worked at XEPA Trucking in Wayland at the Fahy Potato farm. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by 2 husbands, Richard Young Sr. & Jack Walters; 2 sons, Richard (Waco) Young Jr. & John Lewis Walters; a daughter, Evelyn Myral Young and a brother, Dale Barnhart.
Pat enjoyed doing whatever she could to help others in need, but loved spending time with her grandchildren & great grandchildren. She was affectionately known as Mama Pat or Aunt Pat. She will be greatly missed by those who were fortunate to have known her; she was indeed a special person to her family & friends.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Ella Kays Walters, Margaret Erwin & Shirley Erwin Bergeron all of Dansville; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Shirley (Lyle) Young & Judy (David) Marble all of Dansville & Connie (Jake) Swisher of Florida; 4 brothers, Dana Barnhart of Florida, Larry (Roxanne) Barnhart of Cohocton, Martin (Carol) Barnhart of Dansville & Gerald (Shirley) Loveland of Burns; several nieces, nephews & cousins.
Friends may call 10am-12 pm, Monday at the Chamberlin Baird Funeral Home, 73 Main St., Dansville, where funeral services will be held at the conclusion of calling. Burial will be in South Church Cemetery.
